As it is the custom of Elon musk to criticize other millionaires because they don’t buy his tesla products, this time he went straight to the American billionaire Bill Gates.
In a recent interview, he gave to a well-known YouTuber, he explained the importance of reducing greenhouse gases to the planet, and referred to the fact that one of the sectors that gives hope to the world in the fight against climate change, is precisely the automotive industry, he added:
“Certainly, if you had to name one company that helped put all this together, it would be Tesla.”
However, during the interview, the founder of Microsoft recently said he had bought a Porsche Taycan. An electric car that would have cost him about $185,000. Gates invited people to stop being afraid of using this type of technology and see the incredible autonomy they can have.
One of Elon musk’s followers asked him what his position was on the 64-year-old entrepreneur’s statements. To which musk responded:
“My conversations with Gates have always been disappointing”.
This is not the first time that the South African-born entrepreneur has criticized several of his colleagues in the silicon valley world for not having the same opinion as him. For many, this type of response suggests the arrogance of the creator of Tesla Motors.
Mark Zuckerberg was criticized for speaking at a talk on the potential risks of artificial intelligence and called Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos a copycat because he allegedly copied the idea of creating a network of satellites around the world and creating a global network to transmit the internet.
But what makes the Porsche Tuycan so special?
During the last 5 years big automotive companies such as General Motors, Renault, Nissan, Kia, among others, have been joining the bus of electric car manufacturing, all this thanks to a revolution started by Elon Musk with his Tesla Motors startup more than 8 years ago.
But now large and iconic motoring companies like Porsche decided it was time to launch an electric car that would outperform its direct competitors including Tesla.
So the Porsche Tuycan meets these requirements, the car has a 600 horsepower engine and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in less than 3.8 seconds.
The car has an 800-volt battery pack, which will allow you to have a range of up to 600 kilometers on a single charge, a real madness!
The head of Design at Porsche has expressed his wish that this vehicle will be the representation of what the new automotive era should be, and he hopes to exceed 100,000 units sold by next year.
